Our History
Back in 1954, at the tender age of 21 and with only an axe, handsaw and wheelbarrow, Laurie started his business, Laurie Brown Complete Tree Removal.
Residing in Sandringham, much of Laurie’s work centred around Melbourne and surrounds. Laurie worked on a number of large projects including the Mangalore Airport, the Waverly Road Extension and the Albert Park Development amongst other sizable contracts and smaller residential works.
Laurie moved his family and business to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in the early 1970’s where he continued his work providing services in tree removal, tree reductions and tree pruning, tree felling and land clearing, mulching, stump removal, fire protection and more for residential clients, property managers, builders, developers and shire councils.
Laurie reluctantly retired in 2012 aged 79, however his business, Laurie Brown Complete Tree Removal proudly continues to grow and thrive as a family owned and operated company providing our complete tree services across the Mornington Peninsula and beyond.
